CTET के English - I खंड का मुख्य उद्देश्य अभ्यर्थियों की अंग्रेज़ी भाषा की बुनियादी समझ, पाठ्यांशों को पढ़ने व विश्लेषित करने की क्षमता तथा भाषा प्रयोग की शुद्धता का मूल्यांकन करना है। इस खंड में सामान्यतः रीडिंग कॉम्प्रिहेंशन, शब्द–भंडार, व्याकरण तथा वाक्य संरचना पर आधारित प्रश्न शामिल होते हैं, जो उम्मीदवारों की भाषा दक्षता को व्यावहारिक रूप से जांचते हैं।

12 जनवरी 2022 को आयोजित CTET Paper-I के इस English - I प्रश्नपत्र में भाषा-शिक्षण से संबंधित सिद्धांतों और व्यवहारिक ज्ञान पर भी विशेष ध्यान दिया गया है। इसमें शिक्षक की भूमिका, कक्षा में अंग्रेज़ी अधिगम की रणनीतियाँ, त्रुटि विश्लेषण तथा प्रभावी भाषा शिक्षण तकनीकों पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। यह PYP Quiz उम्मीदवारों को परीक्षा के पैटर्न को समझने में मदद करता है और वास्तविक परीक्षा में उनके आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ाता है।

Freedom loving people of tribal community had rejected foreign powers from the very beginning. In 1857, when the spark of the freedom struggle reached Central India, the Bheel-Bhilala Nayaks of Malwa-Nimar tribe stood against the oppression. Among these heroes, Tantya Bheel, Bheema Nayak, Khajya Nayak, Sitaram Kanwar and Raghunath Singh Mandloi created a glorious history of struggle. during the freedom struggle of 1857, the network of revolutionaries was all over Malwa and Nimar. The chain system of tribal revolutionaries was amazing. As soon as one hero was sacrificed, the other hero used to take the front so that the revolution would go on un-interrupted.
Among the Bheel Jannayaks, Tantya Bheel was a legendary figure known for his bravery and might. Tantya Bheel was born around 1842. At the age of 16, he became a revolutionary and a social crusader. People in distress used to call him Tantya Mama. He liberated the oppressed from the clutches of the British sycophants, money lenders and fought continuously with the British to become a people's warrior. Tantya Mama also provided shelter to hundreds of freedom fighters who sought refuge in the forests. On September 15, 1857, he met Tantya Tope, the great hero of freedom struggle. He received training in gorilla warfare from Tantya Tope. The sole purpose of Tantya Mama's life was to punish the exploiters and give every person their due. The British were stunned by Tantya's bravery. Even a police brigade was established to catch him, but the British army could not reach him. The British eventually resorted to deceit, force and Man Singh created a history of betrayal. Tantya Mama, the messiah of the poor people, who supported the exploited and fought the exploiters, was hanged on December 4, 1889.
